Zinnias are grown for their colourful, long-lasting flower-heads and are easy to grow. However, since plants originate from south-west US and Mexico, they tend to benefit from hot, dry summers.

  1. Prior to this year, I was never really a flower fan. Vegetable gardening was my gig. But this year my wife and I grew some flowers from seed. Zinnias figured prominently. They were part of making my newly-revamped backyard beautiful. I’ve been won over.
