O is for Offset – Word Up!

A young plant reproduced asexually by the parent, usually at the base. Some bulbs and cacti reproduce in this way. Offsets can be removed from the parent then potted up and grown on as separate plants.
An example of this is the succulent Haworthia (pictured).
